By creating an account or using Cantor, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Cantor on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Cantor is an AI-powered church operations platform. It provides tools for worship planning, communications management, volunteer coordination, pastoral care tracking, and related functions. The platform includes Ezra, an AI agent that drafts content and assists with church operations.
The person who creates a church account (the “Church Administrator”) is responsible for all activity under that account, including the actions of staff users they invite. The Church Administrator must ensure that all users comply with these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
You agree not to use Cantor to:
Your church retains full ownership of all data it creates in Cantor — sermon notes, member records, communications, giving data, and any other content. Cantor acts as a data processor on your behalf. We will not access, use, or share your church's data except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
You may export or delete your church's data at any time. Upon account termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless you request otherwise.
Cantor owns the platform, its underlying technology, design, and trademarks. Your church owns the content it creates. Content generated by Ezra using your church's context belongs to your church once generated.
Paid plans are not yet available. When billing launches, we will notify all users in advance. Paid plans will be billed monthly or annually as selected. We will offer a grace period before any account is restricted for non-payment. Refunds are handled case-by-case — contact hello@cantor.church.
Early access accounts receive free access to the full platform for 30 days. We reserve the right to extend or modify the trial period at our discretion. Early access users agree to provide feedback and understand that features may change.
Cantor is provided “as is.” We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose. Ezra's outputs should be reviewed by your team before use — we are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cantor's total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim (or $100 if no fees were paid).
You agree to indemnify Cantor from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or content you submit.
You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, after providing reasonable notice where possible. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA. Any dispute arising from these terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Mississippi, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Cantor after changes constitutes acceptance.
